Curriculum
The school curriculum is specified by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is formulated National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT). Students are exposed to both Scholastic and Co- Scholastic areas. which The curriculum embraces a developmental inquiry-based approach to learning, accepting students’ existing levels of learning and validating their strengths, experiences, languages and cultures. The curriculum is designed to maintain relevance, challenge and engagement.
EVALUATION PROCEDURE
As per the CBSE guidelines regarding the new assessment technique, the
session is divided into two terms: Term I & Term II. In each term class
wise assessment criteria is as follows:-
CLASSES I- V
Each Term will have:-
ONE PERIODIC TEST -40 Marks Each (20 %)
NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION – 10 Marks
SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY- 10 Marks
TERM EXAM- 60 Marks
CLASSES VI- VIII
Each Term will have:-
ONE PERIODIC TESTS-40 Marks Each (10%)
NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION – 05 Marks
SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY- 05 Marks
TERM EXAM- 80 Marks
CLASSES IX & X
PERIODIC TESTS – 10 Marks (Average of Best Two out of three)
NOTEBOOK SUBMISSION – 05 Marks
SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY- 05 Marks
FINAL EXAMINATION – 80 Marks (Boards for Class X & Home examination for class IX)
CLASSES XI & XII
Each Term will have
UNIT TESTS – 40 Marks (10% for each term)
HALF YEARLY EXAM. - 100 marks ( Theory + Practical)
ANNUAL EXAMINATION- 100 marks ( Theory + Practical)
NOTE:- SCHEME OF EVALUATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN CASE CBSE ISSUES ANY FRESH GUIDELINES.
